StudioMini App Reviews

This used to be my go to DAW. Alas, other apps have progressed and StudioMini has largely stood still. I use AudioCopy and audiobus, this app does not support either of them. The app hasnt been updated in half a year. I contacted the developer who says that they plan to support both AudioCopy and audiobus in the future. I will revise my review at that time.

Im a singer and I REALLY appreciate how fast I can record my song ideas. Its super easy to begin a new recording session and I can get a mix emailed to my guitarist & producer from the app which is awesome. Sound quality is totally pro. Weve imported tracks from StudioMini into Pro Tools for songs were working on for my new album. Just plain awesome, get it.

I bought this app because I have the iPad app and it works great. I downloaded the app and the example song was very distorted. I recorded a sample audio and it was distorted as well.

I love the app. I got it when it was free. I think my friends would be more likely to purchase the app if it were easier to send songs to other studiomini app owners so that they could also mix in with the song.

This app used to be tremendous before the most recent update , the tuner was great and completely versatile, it gave so many options of different instruments and various tunings, this new tuner from the recent update was compete crap, if you have not updated yet, DONT!

It can record multi tracks and mix them, but cannot loop, move or edit them. And no effects...Not quite sure what the app is for. Am I missing something??

This was my go-to app for workaday recording. Now it has garbled sound on my 5th gen ipod touch ios 8.1.3. Useless. Please fix.

For the price theres a lot of great features. I love how it records and that you can import tracks. It would be nice to have maybe 2 more tracks and to be able to start recording at certain points instead of at the beginning. I also save tracks to my library and would like to be able to import them from other places not just iTunes. Great app for $5 though to make some quick music.

I love this app. Its really great and sounds good. But for some reason, after the update its not letting me import songs from my library. I press the button and nothing happens. Please fix this so I can rate the five stars it deserves.

the audio quality is great and it is very user friendly but i wish that it had a way for you to line in your guitar or mic and maybe a couple effects on each channel.

Waste of my time and money. No support at all.

Ive used this app for years. The new update messes up your recording when it mixes the song and when you email it. Theres no way for me to share my music. Garbage.
