The idea behind this app is great. I can see it being a great resource for musicians; however, I was really dissapointed with the quality. It is difficult to use because the buttons and levers on the screen are hard to control. It is hard to understand what this app can and cant do and I find that it is a frustrating trial and error game. There are too few features to make this app worth while. It could use more tracks and the ability to add drum fills and breaks so that the drums arent so monotonous. It would also be nice if you could set the drum speed because the given speeds dont always fit with the songs I want to record. Hopefully updates will come with more features and better calibration.

This is a pretty good app, but it could use work with exporting the songs, like being able to send them through email or copy to your computer when your synched to it

I bought a bunch of different apps looking for the one to quickly capture inspirations. This one is much better because of the beats included: no other "4 track" recorder has those. UI needs a lot of help but that will come in time. I wish I could plug the output of Amps & Cabs into this little app. Good job guys!

Finally Ive bought SOOO many of these apps and this is the only good one! I like the simple UI and sound quality

Beats my 500$ recorder by far

I had an earlier version which was great for rough recordings of song ideas but awkward to use and almost impossible to export for dinosaurs like me who use Windows. This version has a MUCH improved interface and now supports WAV format. A perfect app for recording demos and song ideas, and if you happen to get a great take on one track it could even be the studio version! One very minor criticism, a pan feature for each channel would be nice to have.

Can u get a update so u can make Ur own beats without all this stuff its just in the game and I dont want to buy all this stuff

The drum beats are okay, nothing special. But no self respecting artist would use a drum loop that comes with the program anyways. Suggestions for updates -import your own audiofiles (ie better drum loops) -change track volume along timeline (so that fluctuations in volume can be adjusted post-recording) -trim tracks (i always have a few seconds of drum beat alone at the end of the song) -loop option for recordings -change tempo of preset drums (each loop is stuck on whatever bpm it is set at) I havent seen most of these features on any recording studio app, and although this one is already my favorite, these additions would put it head and shoulders above the rest

I feel burned. Apparently you cannot plug in anything direct using iRig or similar devices. This app expects you to go through a mixing board and mic your amp. Thats fine but NOT if its the only way to use the app. What scanners. They should clearly state in the description that you CANNOT plug a guitar or mic into your iPhone and record on this app. Please beware of this and save yourself the frustration. Download the Four Track app instead.

This app is really bad! Waste of money! Doesnt let you do anything, like record and those stuff! Waste of money!

What is disappointing is that a track can only be recorded one shot if you miss you have to redo the whole track you cant just fill in

Would like to be able to control songs duration periods separately not just all at one time makes it VERY difficult to time and its only a slight adjustment that needs to made to make this the best music app out there.

Great for recording song ideas or a rehearsal. Tuner sometimes does work though.

Please update with some effects for the vocals, adding atleast up to 2 fx for each vocal, and is there a way for it to be like audacity but mobile

Very good app, usefull, but if its possible will be great to make PAN changes on tracks for listenig it with headphones.

Please , add more loops Or possibility to adjust ( import, speed change )loops.
